Tuition

"John's clarity of thought and execution of flyfishing methods is second to none; the complete package is absolutely outstanding. This will apply to complete beginners or to seasoned campaigners. I recommend him to you."

Mr Bell, Berwick.

I am very pleased and proud to have passed the Advanced Trout qualification of the Association of Advanced Professional Game Angling Instructors (AAPGAI).

When it comes to starting out, many people begin by teaching themselves or being taught by friends, but in fact newcomers to fly fishing need very careful tuition.

Bad habits are easy to pick up but much harder to resolve.

A few hours with a professional instructor will speed your progress and increase your enjoyment and will be well worth the modest cost of the lessons.
